Practice Begins the week of August 18th at Grand Haven High School Football Practice Fields:
Practice times and days will be announced at the end of the summer

Games at GHHS Buccaneer Stadium beginning September 6th.

All of the information is subject to change.
Game Times for each division will be announced once the number of teams for each division is finalized.

2025 Young Bucs Flag Football

Grand Haven Young Bucs Football is a Kindergarten through 6th grade flag football program serving athletes in the Grand Haven Area Public Schools. The league has three divisions: K-1st; 2nd-3rd and 4th-6th. Practices begin the week of August 18, 2025. Each team will play seven games that begin September 6, 2025 and run through October 18, 2025.

Divisions:
K-1st: 7v7, Coach QB; Field Size: 40 yards long and sideline to near hash.
2nd-3rd: 9v9, Kid QB; Field Size: 40 yards long and sideline to sideline.
4th-6th: 11v11, Kid QB; Field Size: Full Size Field with special teams

2025 5th/6th Young Bucs Tackle Football

Grand Haven Young Bucs is 5th/6th Tackle Football will play in the West Michigan Junior Football League against other schools. The league information can be found at http://www.wmjfl.com/. There you can find information on participating schools, rules and weight limits for carrying the football. Registrations fees for 5th/6th Tackle will be $125.   There will be a limit to 60 players.  We will open a waiting list for additional players.  If we have enough players on the wait list and qualified coaches for a fourth team, the board will evaluate whether a fourth team is appropriate.

Equipment will be the responsibility of the players.  We request that players purchase a white helmet, mouth guard, should pads, 7-piece girdle, practice pants and practice jersey.
