Practice Begins the week of August 18th at Grand Haven High School Football Practice Fields:
Practice times and days will be announced at the end of the summer

Games at GHHS Buccaneer Stadium beginning September 6th.

All of the information is subject to change.
Game Times for each division will be announced once the number of teams for each division is finalized.

2026 5th/6th Young Bucs Tackle Football

Grand Haven Young Bucs is 5th/6th Tackle Football will play in the West Michigan Junior Football League against other schools. Equipment will be the responsibility of the players.  We request that players purchase a white helmet, mouth guard, should pads, game/practice pants and practice jersey.  

**All cancellations will incur at $25 cancellation fee**

5th/6th Grade Tackle Football

2026 3rd/4th Young Bucs Tackle Football

Grand Haven Young Bucs is 3rd/4th Tackle Football will play in the West Michigan Junior Football League against other schools. Registrations fees for 3rd/4th Tackle will be $125.  

Equipment will be the responsibility of the players.  We request that players purchase a white helmet, mouth guard, should pads, game/practice pants and practice jersey.

2026 Young Bucs Flag Football

Grand Haven Young Bucs Football is a Kindergarten through 6th grade flag football program serving athletes in the Grand Haven Area Public Schools. The league has three divisions: K-1st; 2nd-3rd and 4th-6th. Practices begin the week of August 17, 2026. Each team will play seven games that begin September 12, 2026 and run through October 24, 2026.

Divisions:
K-1st: 7v7, Coach QB; Field Size: 40 yards long and sideline to near hash.
2nd-3rd: 9v9, Kid QB; Field Size: 40 yards long and sideline to sideline.
4th-6th: 11v11, Kid QB; Field Size: Full Size Field with special teams

*These dates are tentative at this time and are subject to change
